前のデフジャムファイトニューヨークのような闘い方だと思ったら全然違い正直ガッカリです。最初から最後まで1対1のタイマンだしカッコいい決め技もなくなりすぐに飽きてしまいました。自分は全然面白くなかったです。買うか迷ってる人がいるならオススメできません。前のデフジャムとは全然違うので買うという人は注意してください。

PS2で発売された前作「Def Jam FIGHT FOR NY」とは、全くと言っていい程別のゲームになってます。

【良い点】
・T.Iが出る。

【悪い点】
・画質も特別キレイでは無い。
・以前の様なブレイジングモードが無い。
・カスッた様な攻撃で勝ってしまう。
・ファイトスタイルを組み合わせれない。
・服などを買うお金は、レコード会社と契約して稼ぐので面倒臭い。
・日本版なのにストーリーは、英語で字幕も英語のみ。
・DJコントロールと言う新しい操作法は、飽きる。

と上記であげた様に、買うのは損です。
これを買うなら、PS2の前作を買う事をオススメします。

アジア版でプレイしましたが画像はいいのですが動きがまったりしていてイライラします.ストーリーモードも今までのデフジャムものと大差ないストーリーです。前作のほうがデキがよいと思います。登場ラッパーもほとんど同じでTIとTHE GAMEがいるのが嬉しいくらいでしょうか。TI.THE GAMEのファンなら買いでしょう。あと殴られると血まみれアザだらけ服が破けるという風になるのはいいと思いました。ラッパーお好きなBBOY向けのキャラゲーです。
