本作は、「ウィ・シャル・オーヴァーカム:ザ・シーガー・セッションズ」ツァーの最終公演地ダブリンで収録された２ＣＤ＋ＤＶＤのアルバム。このコンサートは２ＣＤだけ、ＤＶＤだけ、２ＣＤ＋ＤＶＤの３通りで発表されたが、ＤＶＤの収録曲はＣＤと同じで曲順も同じ、しかもおまけのような舞台裏の廊下での演奏がついているから、サラウンドで聴けることも考えると、ＤＶＤ通常盤を買うのがお薦めか。演奏曲は「ウィ・シャル・オーヴァーカム:ザ・シーガー・セッションズ」からの曲が多く、同じ演奏スタイルで実に伸び伸びとボスが歌い、聴衆がよく反応している。ボスの米国ルーツ・ミュージックを辿るプロジェクトの最後を飾るにふさわしいライヴ盤と言えよう。特筆すべきは、ボス自身の名曲数曲のアレンジを変えて、本コンサートに違和感なく調和させていること。いきなりバンジョーで始まる第１曲のアトランティック・シティや、光で目もくらみ、オープン・オール・ナイト、ハイウェイ・パトロールマン等がそうだが、曲目を見ないとわからないほど大胆な新ヴァージョンとなっており、必聴。私は特にピアノとヴァイオリンで始まるイフ・アイ・シュド・フォール・ビハインドが気に入った。この曲のベスト・ヴァージョンではなかろうか。逆に本作で新登場のトラディショナル曲もあるが、その筆頭が誰でも知ってる、聖者が街にやってくる。賑やかになるかと思いきや抑制された演奏で新鮮。

１７人ものバンドにE.ストリート・バンドからは二人の女性が参加している。スージー・タイレルのフィドルは水を得た魚のようだし、ボスにとってのパティ・スキャルファの存在の大きさを実感する。ボスは次作でE.ストリート・バンドと組むのか不明だが、このツァーを経験したことはボスのキャリアの宝となるだろう。
