4.0 out of 5 stars 再結成後のフルアルバム, 2007/7/4
EPを聴かれた方の多くが気付かれたであろう、大きな特徴であった濃厚なインド色、東洋趣味的な要素、妖しさの欠如。このフルアルバムにおいても、それは同じ。感じさせるのはタイトル・トラック 5)から6)にかけてくらい。後期ビートルズ的なポップな曲や哀愁漂うフォークソングまである。1stをイメージすると違和感はあると思う。
しかし、1)から始まる前半はこのバンドらしいグルーヴに溢れ、ベースとなるスタンスは変わっていないのだと感じさせる。 7)からは暗くフォーキーな楽曲が占め、メロディーに比重が置かれている。
変わったと言えば変わったのだと思う。だが過去の成功にすがっての再結成ではないことは明白。積み重ねられた過去と、現在の音楽性とが共存する傑作。「クーラ・シェイカー」はまだここにいる。

とりあえず復活は素直に嬉しい。
まだ数回しか聴いていないけれど美メロ多め。
インド趣味は少なめ。
1stの｢In to the deep」の曲調を深化させたイメージ。
↓の方もおっしゃっているようにジャケもかっこいい。

このＣＤはお気に入りです。かっこいい。
雰囲気はそのままに更に練られた感じがする。
内容がバラエティに富んでおり、
プロディジーの人との合作等もおもしろい。
アップテンポもミディアムテンポの曲も心地よい。
聞けば聞くほど気に入るようなＣＤ。
特に8曲目が綺麗なメロディーでイイ！
ボーナストラックもいいのでおススメです。
