　「Check Your Head」や 「Ill Communication」から彼らを聞き始めた世代の人たちは、ぜひ
聞いてください。当時１０代のB-BOYやボーダーの人たちも、別にそうではない人も、あの頃、
ビースティーズが好きだった人たち、あの頃が青春だった人たちにぜひ聞いてもらいたいで
す。それに「Ill Communication」の「リッキーのテーマ」が好きな人も、ぜひ聴いてみてくだ
さい。

　楽曲はすべてインストです。「暴動」や「フレッシュ」の頃のスライ＆ザ・ファミリースト
ーンのようなクールなファンクナンバーから始まり、年代的には７０年代、ジャンルはソウル
からロックまでいろいろな要素を織り交ぜつつ、すべてがクールに鳴り響いています。
「Paul's Boutique」が好きな人も気に入ると思います！

ラップが無いの？！と嘆くファンの方も見えますが、
ビースティ・ボーイズの“真髄”って、ラップじゃないんでは？
（いや、ラップも確かに魅力ですが…今となっては、上手い人多いですし…）
　
「コレはちょっと…」というファンの方も見えるようですが、
これまでのファンも裏切らない、
というか、「コレよ、コレ！」というような内容のアルバムです。
ラップが無い分、センスの良さが際立ってます。
　
これはジャズってる人にも聴いて欲しいアルバムです。

ビースティーボーイズのインスト作品で、以前もインスト形態のアルバムがあったが、そちらはあくまでアルバムのインスト曲を集めた編集盤であったのとは異なり、今回は完全オリジナルのインスト曲集となっている。サウンドは７０’ｓフレーバーの渋い＆まったりのフリーソウル。ヒップホップ的要素は全くありません。あくまで彼らの趣味的なノリのアルバムで、彼らの音楽的ルーツを堪能したいコアなファン向け。本来なら別名義でリリースしたほうがふさわしい作風だが、商業的な事情からビースティー名義となっているのでしょう。初めてビースティーを聞こうと思っている初心者がこのアルバムを買って聞いてしまうと困ったことになりそうです。
