タムロンＡ１６（１７ｍｍ〜５０ｍｍ）の購入に併せて、こちらも同時購入。

出費はかさみますが、数万するレンズを保護するためにやっぱり必要だと思います。

一眼レフカメラの場合、進歩の著しいボディは今後何回か買い換えるでしょうが、レンズはできるだけ使いまわしたいもの。肝心のレンズを痛ませないための出費としてやむをえないものと思われます。

なお、一度装着してしまうとなかなか取り外す機会がなくなるため、縁の下の力持ち的な存在です。

　Nikon D90 AF-S DX 18-105 VRレンズキットを買うのに合わせて購入しました。
　コンパクトデジカメなら撮影時以外レンズは本体内に格納されてますが、一眼レフのレンズは着脱式ですから必然的に外にむき出しになっている時間が長くなります。レンズも高価ですから高くても数千円のプロテクターの代金をケチってレンズに傷が付いたら笑い話になりません。
　なので上記のレンズキットに付属のレンズに合わせて67ミリのプロテクターを付けまして、試しに撮影してみましたが、ぱっと見た感じ、付けてない状態と比べて画像はそう変わりませんし、上からレンズに付属の蓋を被せられますから、レンズを長持ちさせたいなら是非プロテクターを付けておきましょう。
