デビュー作「Tom McRae」で垣間みられた孤独な切迫感に引き付けられて以来、セカンド「Just Like Blood」サード「All Maps Welcome」と聴き続けてきました。彼の抱える絶望の闇みたいなものはしだいに癒されたのか、作品ごとに１曲１曲に暖かみが感じられてきたように思います。さて、本４作目はハッピーな感情が全面に押し出した内容で、サードまでのファンは戸惑う内容かもしれません。私は正直いまだに馴染めません。楽曲の質は相変わらず高いのですが、何か吹っ切れたというか、失われたというか。Sigur Rosの「Takk...」を聴いたとき覚えた感情に近いですね。２００７年６月には国内盤がボーナストラック付きで発売されるようです。
