5.0 out of 5 stars 現代アラブの大衆文化を垣間見れます。, 2009/3/27
小生は、五十路を過ぎた者です。二十数年前の学生時代にエジプト方言のアラビア語を教養科目として手習いしました。それから、数回以上折を見てアラブとアラビア語にも興味を持ち続けて居ります。
アラブなりアラビア語なりは、今でこそ、国際問題(不幸にして、余りポジティブな色合いは多くないのが、大変残念ですね）を中心として日常生活の耳目には多くの情報が、断片的ながらも入って来て居ります。けれども、その地域に住む一般のアラブの人達についての生きた情報は、まだ日本人全体の皮膚感覚としては十分な理解が得られていない様にも思えます。
これは、その様な場合に最適のＤＶＤです。海外事情報道とかアラブ理解等の些か堅苦しい気持ちで見るよりも、海外事情を広く浅く知った上で、地球上の一民族アラブ人大衆の文化のひとつであるアラブの流行歌を長年に渡って歌い上げるレバノン国籍のアラブ女性歌手ファイルーズ（アラビア語で、“トルコ石”の事。彼女の芸名です。本名は、“ハド・ワディ・ハッダード”です）を彼女の祖国のレバノンではアラブ人大衆がどの様に受け止めているかが、このＤＶＤでは良く判ります。「民族歌謡」と言うと、これもまた少し堅苦しさが出て来ますので、敢えて日本人一般のイメージする歌謡曲と言う意味での「流行歌」とした方がこの場合は適切と考えます。また、そうする事で、このＤＶＤを見る我々日本人には、ファイルーズがあたかも“アラブ民族の美空ひばり”として捉える事が出来、それで一層このＤＶＤを楽しさを交えながら鑑賞する事が出来ます。また、このＤＶＤで紹介される歌も、彼女のアルバム（ＣＤ）で入手出来ます。小生も数枚持っています。
異文化理解と言えば、英米語世界を理解する事が中心になる傾向がまだまだ強い日本では、最適のＤＶＤです、これは。
