井ノ原快彦出演のテレビ朝日系ドラマ「警視庁捜査一課9係 season2」主題歌の「ジャスミン」と、早稲田アカデミーCMソング＆フジテレビ系「VVV6 東京Vシュラン2」テーマソングの「Rainbow」の両Ａ面。
「ジャスミン」のほうは、優しく温かい曲調で、ちょっと憂鬱な気分をそっと癒してくれる、良質の応援ソングとなっている。
「Rainbow」のほうは、「癒し」よりももう少しパワフルな「励まし」を感じさせる、これも同じく、より力強い応援ソングでとなっている。

この盤（初回限定盤、ＤＶＤ付）だけに付いているＤＶＤには、カミセンとトニセンそれぞれのバーションのミュージック・クリップが入っている。
内容は、各人の「休日の過ごし方」を思わせる設定になっており、それぞれが一人で、家でくつろいだり、バイクで出かけたり、客をもてなすために料理をしたり、自転車を走らせたり、電車に乗ったり、届いた手紙に目を通したり、といった具合。
見ている人が、一緒に休日を過ごした気分になり、元気になってほしい、という意図でつくられたものだろうか。
確かに、見終えると何かホッとした気持ちになる。
ファンならずとも（実際、私は彼らのファンではない）、一見の価値はあるだろう。

V6の2007年第二弾シングルです!!
両Ａ面シングルの曲目は･･･

１.ジャスミン
２.Rainbow

『ジャスミン』はメンバーのイノッチが出演しているドラマ『警視庁捜査一課９係』の主題歌でもあります。
前回のシングル『HONEY BEAT』から一変して、落ち着いた曲調で歌詞も良いです。
この曲を聴き終わったあとには、｢がんばろう!｣と励まされたような気持ちになります。
すごく心があったかくなれる曲だと思います。

『Rainbow』はV6らしい曲だなぁと思いました。
サビはとても覚えやすいものになっていると思います。
ジャスミンとは少し曲の感じが違いますが、それがまた良いんですよね!!
１枚で２度おいしい!!そんな感じです☆


この初回限定盤にはDVDがついています。
『ジャスミン』の20th Century, Coming Centuryの２バージョンが納められています。
今回は６人一緒のシーンはなく、それぞれの日常をテーマにしています。
『ジャスミン』の曲に合わせて、ＰＶもとても優しい感じに仕上がっています。
通常のＰＶだとカットされている部分がたくさん見れるので、それぞれのストーリーが
しっかりつかめると思います。

音楽を聞いて泣くなんて経験は全くありませんでしたが、この曲を聞いた時、本気で泣きそうになりました。
メロディが何となく懐かしくて癒される感じだし、歌詞も良いです。
名曲だと思います!
