過去のテイルズシリーズのＯＰを飾ったオムニバス曲集。(何故かジアビスを除く)
分かっていて購入したものの、やはりこれで7千円は高いと思います。

ＯＰのアニメーションのＤＶＤは、
ＧＣ版シンフォニアのＯＰの曲とアニメーションに違和感を感じるほどのズレがあります。
ＰＳ２版の曲とアニメが合わなかったのをカムフラージュするために意図的にずらしたのではないかと思ってしまえるほど。
それを除けば、ＴＯＥ、ＴＯＲ、ＴＯＤ２などゲーム内で流れた時のより曲の音量が大きく入れなおされていて気持ちよく見られました。
全体的には高画質でまとめて見られるので良かったかなとは思います。

それと、各作品のキャラクター紹介で載ってない“すず”や“コングマン”。
忘れたのか、必須キャラじゃないからなのかは分かりませんが載っていない事に疑問が残ります。(すずは一応ＯＰに出てるのに)
ＴＯＬのキャラクター画は本当に初期の状態のものが載っていて目を覆いたくなる感じ。
せめて決定稿のもう少し整った感じで描かれたキャラ画はなかったのでしょうか……。


7千円も出しているのに不完全なものを出されてしまうとやはり不満は募ります。
価格相応とは決して言えないと思うような感じ。


テイルズのＯＰは有名なアーティストを使うのも良いですが、ファンタジアの様に無名でもそれ専用にしてもらったほうが合っているのではと改めて思いました。

全体を通して見た率直な感想はこんな感じです。

テイルズシリーズが大好きで、このCDも予約購入しましたが、正直がっかりしました。
とにかく値段が高すぎます。ピンズも別にいらなかったし、ブックレットは期待していたほどの内容でもありませんでした(各シリーズとパーティメンバーの紹介。プロデューサーの短いコメント)
各シリーズのOPアニメは素晴らしいので、星3つにしましたが、ゲームを持ってるならわざわざ買わなくても良いと思います。
各主題歌も特に好きな歌だけCDを買えば、安く済むので(中古を探せば特に)、テイルズシリーズが大好きな方、コレクターの方は購入してみては。

まず、ひとつものすごく気になったのがDVDに収録されているGC版シンフォニアの映像のズレですね…。
ゲームを始める前に毎回OPを見ていたので、このズレは個人的にイタイですね。
はじめのユグドラシルの映像が消えるのがはやいです。おかげで映像が曲よりも先行してしまっています。DVDが付くので限定盤を購入したのに、これは残念です。
収録曲の方は、ファンタジアが吉田由香里さんとよーみさんの両方が入っているのが嬉しいですね。同じ曲でも曲調が少し違いますし。それにSFC版は思い入れがありますからね〜。
アビスが入っていないのは本当に残念ですが、いままでのテイルズの主題歌が一枚で聞けるのはありがたいです。
ピンズは…微妙でした。イラストが描き下ろしというわけではないですし…。
