●ストーリー●
皆さんおっしゃるようにストーリーは良いと思う。ただゲーム向きかどうかと考えると謎。 奥深さや綿密さは感じるが、行き過ぎて解りにくくなっている。理解しないとクリア出来ない訳ではないものの、置いてきぼりになる可能性高。 ただ世間知らずなルークに仲間が常識を教える、という形で世界の法則を説明してくれるので、その点はキャラに感情移入するプレイヤーにはなかなか良いかなと。

●戦闘● ゲームは戦闘が第一!という人には物足りないかもしれないが、それ以外の人なら普通に楽しめるレベルかと。 基本的にごり押しで勝てるし、大体の属性の相性を頭に入れておけばさらに楽。 難易度を上げたいなら設定を弄るか、フリーランスキルを省くと多少変わるが、何にしてもテクニックは殆ど要求されない。

●キャラクター● 個人的に敵サイドの方が魅力的だったように思う。というのも殆どのメインキャラの言動や思考が一貫せず、矛盾が酷かったから。 中でも特に目についたのがティアで、取説の紹介文との差からして大きく落胆した。明らかに「無口」ではないだろうと。 ルークの豹変ぶりももはや別人で、「生きて罪を償う」よりは寧ろ「死んで生まれ変わってしまった」ように感じた 彼は彼のまま、少しずつゆっくりと変わっていく過程が描かれていればもっと良かったかもしれない


意地悪な見方&上から目線&ちょい辛口意見だったかもしれませんが、総合的には割と好きですよ。勧善懲悪ではない、色々と考えさせられるゲームだと思います。
ベスト版は修正無しのようですが、是非いつか全方面を強化した完全版を出して貰いたいですね。

知っている方もいるとは思いますが、海外では追加要素が多数収録されたFFでいうインターナショナル版が販売されています。

日本版は発売日(シリーズ誕生10周年記念作品という事情で延期出来なかったらしいです)までに開発が間に合わず、中途半端なまま見切り発車で発売されたため、ガイ、ナタリア(とその他)の追加秘奥義の開発途中データや致命的なバグ、嫌に長いロードという悲しい要素が付いてきてしまい、それが折角の良作に汚点を残す結果となってしまいました。

とてもいい作品なのでいつか日本でも完全版が発売されることを祈っています。

原版をやったのですが、とても良いゲームでした。個人的には大好きです。
ストーリーも泣けました。EDなんか号泣でした。
この完成度で３０００円を切っているのはかなり買いかと。
まだプレイしたことのない人にはオススメです。
でも原版をやってて思ったのはやはりロードの長さかと・・・
移動の多いダンジョンなんかだとちょっと面倒です。
なんでBEAT版ではその辺も改善されていると嬉しいですね。
でも残念なのが、海外版では追加されてた秘奥義なんかがないことですね。
できればそういうのも入れて完全版を出して欲しかったものです。
