前作から程よいスパンで新作がでた。
これいい　凄くいい。　前作も相当好きで今でも聞いているが、今回はバンド的な
作り方になっていて、ウィングスが大好きだった私にとってはとても嬉しい作りに
なっている。　前々作は新しいツアーメンバーと一緒にあっという間に作り、
前作はプロデューサーにしごかれながら（笑）1人で作り、今回はその両方法が良い
バランスでミックスされている印象を受ける。プロデュースも素晴らしい。

この人はそもそも才能レベルが違うので、時間をかけて「売れる手法」を続けていれば
名作なんか簡単に作れるのに、それを絶対にしない。
時には前々作のように新しいバンドを組んだ嬉しさそのままに勢いで１枚アルバムを
作ってしまう。（Ｗｉｎｇｓの１ｓｔもそんな感じと思う）

なので、いわゆる「失敗作」と呼ばれるものも才能の凄さの割りに多い。

そんな浮き沈みを常に繰り返すところにものすごく「現役感」を感じる。

本当にこの人とこの人の音楽が好きだ。

今年６５歳になるそうだけど、関係ない。
こんな気合の入った若々しい声で正面から
ロックする人は他に居ないだろう。

これからも失敗したり、スゴイ名作を作ったり、いろんな音を聞かせて欲しい。

世間の評価なんて関係ない。私は一生ついていく。

長くなってすいません。いい作品を聴いてテンション上がりすぎました。

彼のソロを聞き始めて30年経ち、最初はあまり期待せずに数回聴き、今では自分でも信じられないのですが、彼のキャリアの中でベストではないかと感じるようになりました。ポップでありながら生と死、喜怒哀楽などの様々な要素が詰まった私にとってはこれからの人生のサウンドトラックになりそうなアルバムです。ありがとうポール！

前作『Chaos And Creation In The Backyard』も凄い名作だった。
あれから2年。今作『Memory Almost Full』は前作以上の完成度ではないかと思う。
主楽器をほとんどポールひとりで演奏した前作と違って
今作はバンドサウンドが増えている。イントロから明るく楽しい『Dance Tonight』にはじまり
これぞマッカートニー・サウンドといえる『Ever Present Past』、
ベースが心地いい『See Your Sunshine』、リフで攻める『Only Mama Knows』など
非常にアプローチがわかりやすい曲もたくさん収録されている。
そうかと思えば『House Of Wax』『The End Of The End』『Mr Bellamy』のような
深い楽曲もある。このバランスは前作にはなかったものだと思う。
さすがに声の張りはやや衰え始めているような気もするがもう60代も半ばである。
これからも応援してます！！
