『奏光のストレイン』の第8,9話を収録したDVDです｡
ラヴィニアのささいな遊び心から崩壊する日常と､偽名で潜伏していた
セーラの正体がついに暴かれる急展開に緊張感が高まります｡

STEP08｢グォール空間補給廠(ほきゅうしょう)｣★★★★☆
　ストレインEXのミミックである人形エミリィ紛失の捜索に
　協力する仲間達とカリスの優しさに､忘れていた笑顔を取り戻すセーラ｡
　しかし､突然の敵襲により再び絶望の淵に落とされ真実に触れた彼女は激発する･･･｡
　第1話｢絶望の前奏曲｣を彷彿させる前半(第7話含む)と後半で全く毛色の異なる
　日常崩壊劇の恐ろしさと危うさに目が離せません｡
　また､カリスの弟･ドニィが兄よりも年上になってしまっている点など
　亜光速移動による地上との時間の流れの違いを実感させるSF描写も光ります｡

STEP09｢目の前の自分｣★★★★★
　ついに暴かれたセーラの正体｡彼女は多くを語らず､不安に染まる艦内｡
　兄の敵に近い存在に怒り狂い暴走するロッティ｡
　罵倒し､非難し､怒りの矛先は殺意と化して彼女に向けられ･･･｡
　兄を慕う二人の過去の姿を重ねながら､優しく切なくじっくり描かれ､
　敢然たる決意を持って彼女に叫ぶセーラの執念が胸に響きます｡
　上層部の殺伐した判断と仲間意識の薄いグォールの冷静沈着さなども非情さを強調しています｡
　全てを物語るサブタイトル名称も秀抜の極み｡重厚感漂う感動の名エピソードです｡
