使い勝手については他の方が書かれているようなので、それ以外の点を。

年賀状をはじめとしたはがき印刷程度の用途であれば、十分な性能を備えています。
カラー印刷も思いの外きれいで、個人的には十分満足です。
ただしプリンタ本体は安価ですが、インクカートリッジが印字ヘッド内蔵のため、上位機種のカートリッジよりも高価です。
特にカラーのインクは三色一体型なので、一色でもなくなると交換の必要があり不経済です。
また、適合するリサイクルカートリッジが流通していません（詰め替えインクはあり）。このあたりもコスト面で不利な点かと思います。
その反面、ヘッドのインク詰まりが起きた場合でもカートリッジ交換で対応できると言うメリットもあります。

こういった点から、年に数回程度しか使用しないライトユーザ向けかと思います。
逆にそれなりの使用頻度と印刷枚数が見込まれるのであれば、性能・トータルコストの両面から上位機種を買われる方が良いでしょう。
（もちろん写真画質を求められるのであれば、使用頻度に関係なく、本機種は選択の対象にはなり得ないでしょう）

あと性能には関係ないですが、天面が真っ平らなため未使用時には上に物を置く事ができます。
また、全体的にでこぼこしていないため、収納性がいいのも個人的にポイント高いです。
逆にマイナス面としては、
　(1)左右にヘッドの待避場所があるため横幅が妙に広く、印字用紙サイズに対し専有面積が大きいこと
　(2)本体が無塗装のつや出し仕上げのため、手脂の汚れや静電気によるホコリの付着が気になること
の二点です。これらの点で☆を-1してます。

特に特殊な機能は必要ないので、印刷が出来て、手ごろな値段という条件で購入しました。
Canonはインクが電気店以外でも手に入りやすい点でも良いと思います

しかし、このプリンター、インクカートリッジは付属していますが、パソコンと接続するＵＳＢケーブルが付いていません。
ＵＳＢケーブルは電気店で購入できますが、私の場合プリンターを購入した後に気がついたので二度手間でした。
そのため、余っているケーブルがない方は一緒に購入した方が良いと思います

また、駆動音が多少うるさいように感じます
印刷した紙を排出する部分に受け皿がないので、棚のようなところに置く予定の方は不向きかもしれません

本体自体は軽くて、デザインはシンプルで、印刷は早いので、コアに使いこなすのではなく、手軽なプリンターをお探しの方向きだと思います

年賀状の宛名印刷に使用するつもりで購入しました。
しかし、DPE店で作成・購入した写真貼り合わせの年賀状に宛名印刷を試みましたが、給紙がうまくいかず、印刷できませんでした。
サポートセンターに問い合わせましたが、動作の保証外とのことでした。カタログには明記してある事の様です。hpも同様の注意書きをホームページ上に掲載していました。
同様の使用法をお考えの方は御注意ください。
