この映画のうたい文句にある、乗客全てが犯人の可能性があるを念頭に置いて見ていたので、中途まではどきどきして見ていた。だが、保安官が出てきてこれがしくんだと解ってからは、その計画が説明不足でかつ不可能に近いものだから、すっかり興ざめして寝てしまったという映画です。

　最初の密室の飛行機内で娘が消えるというセントラル・アイデアはよかったのに脚本がメチャクチャです。乗客全員が共犯でなかったら目撃者がいるのが普通じゃないの？主人公が犯人の思い通りに動いていないと成立しない犯罪じゃないの？おまけに、あんなに中盤まで謎解きみたいにしてたのに途中でネタを割ってしまいミステリーやサスペンス色がゼロになってしまい、多くの人は醒めてしまったのではないでしょうか。
　それにしてもジョディ・フォスター扮する母親の言動は普通ではない。自分の子供のためには多くの人に迷惑をかけてもいいのか、いくら9.11があったからってアラブ人にあんな態度をとってもよいのか？最後に迷惑をかけた全員に謝るかと思いきや、一切の謝罪なし！謝れ！

ジョディ・フォスター主演ということで見る。初めは面白い。後半はかなり白ける。脚本の段階からちょっと無理だと分かるはずですけどね。なんでこれが映画化されたのか（ハリウッドでですぞ）どう考えてもストーリーの整合性もとれていないし、現実的に無理なこじ付けが続きすぎる。子ども１人誰にも見られず連れ去り、あんなところに連れて行くなんてことが飛行機の中で出来るわけがない。何ぼなんでもひどい。ただ、飛行機のセットはリアルで面白かったですね。客室から一歩出たら円筒型の乗り物ということが良く分かった（当たり前ですが・・・）。
