限定品を買いそびれました。今回の3タイトルの再発売を早めに、お願いします。ファンは、たくさんいると思いますので、次回は今回より多めに、お願いします。自分勝手な、わがままな、お願いですが、本当に買いそびれたのは、とても悔しくて、涙が出ます。是非ともご検討をお願いします。

第二期J.ベック・グループの根幹は、言うまでも無くJ.ベック自身のソウル好きが高じた(^^;その延長線とビジネスや時代が巧くマッチした結果であったのかも知れません。とは言え、そこに参加したM.ミドルトン(key)やB.テンチ(vo、g)のエフォートが大きかった事は周知の事実かと思います。
そのM.ミドルトンやB.テンチがJ.ベック・グループを離れて立ち上げたのがハミングバードとなれば、そこで展開される音は、、、想像に難くないと思います。本作('75年作)がその1stとなりますが、J.ベック・グループのそれとは大きく離れており、その粘着性とグルーヴはかなり気持ち良くなれます。
＃言うまでもありませんが、上記コメントがJ.ベック・グループの否定では
＃全くありませんので。早合点されませんように(^^;
またC.イシドア(ds、perc)の書くメロディの良さ、殊にの[7]の爽快さと、[9]の揺れ具合は、クロスオーバー系の音を好物とする私の様な輩には何よりのご馳走となっています。
同じようにソウルっぽさアーシーさのような点でよく語られるクルセイダーズやスタッフといったバンドも勿論好物には違いないのですが、それらグループの持つグルーヴさとも違ったこの感触。いや、素晴らしい作品だと思います。

１９７５年リリースのファーストアルバム・・・十数年前国内でこのファーストのみが、なぜかＣＤ化されていました。今回のペーパースリーヴ化アルバム３枚怒涛のリイシューは、まさに涙モノと言って良いでしょう（って、もう流通在庫無いのでしょうか？）。メンバーは、ボビーテンチ（Ｖｏ／Ｇ）・マックスミドルトン（Ｋｅｙ）・クライヴチャーマン（Ｂ／Ｆｌｕ）・バーニーホランド（Ｇ）・コンラドイシドア（Ｄｒ）・・・私的に喩えると、いぶし銀ＴＯＴＯ的なラインナップです（笑）。音の方は、第２期ジェフベックグループをイメージして頂ければわかりやすいかと・・・ボーカルはソウルフル、インストパートはクロスオーヴァー／フュージョンといった趣です。ジェフベックのファンであれば、物欲に走っていいアルバムですね・・・１曲でもジェフが参加していれば、このバンドの露出はもっと高くなったのではないでしょうか（ＵＰＰみたいに！）。ライナーから察するに、このアルバムの主導権はコンラドイシドアで、曲の大半を提供している事から窺い知る事が出来ます・・・彼がボーカルを取る３曲目には、リンダルイス（Ｖｏ）が参加しています。なんと言っても、マックスミドルトンの演奏がたまりません・・・このキーボードワークは、本当素晴らしいです（出てくるフレーズが、本当たまらない！）。それにしても、初回限定生産というのも考えもんだよなあ！
