アルバム全体を通していかにもなAOR/R&B/fusion系タームがギッシリ満載宝石箱なのに、
AOR全盛世代を俯瞰で眺める冷静さが2007年にはとても心地良い。
2010年代になってもBobby Caldwelは窓全開で聞けないでしょうが、
こっちなら彼女もまあ許してくれるでしょう。
そういえば、IncognitoにBrand New Heavysでも演ってたのか。納得。。。
ギリギリのところで古さや臭さを思い留まらせるアレンジセンスとこなれたテクニックに、
百戦錬磨で不感症になった中年男女ともにメロメロです。
ごちそうさまでした。じゅるっ！！

非常に完成された作品ばかりである。たしかに第一印象は Steely Dan のような である。メロディのつなげ方、リズムの取り方、コーラスワーク等で聞き間違うほど似ている（インパクトは異なるが）。この、“似ている”という点が今後の足かせにならないことを願うばかりである。あとは、Bobby Caldwellのような曲あり、ＥＷ＆Ｆを思い出させる曲ありと、聞く人によってはかなり印象が変わるかもしれない。皆さん、騙されたと思って、聞いてみてください。少なくとも退屈はしません。一番の懸念事項は、次の作品って作れるのだろうか・・・。
