あのザ・ブルーハーツの名曲が、夏木マリさんがボーカルの凄腕揃いのブルース・バンド「ジビエ・ド・マリ」によってカバーされました。

オリジナルの骨太さと疾走感はMatureに中和されているけれども「あきらめない」と、汗をかくようなあの皮膚感覚は健在。
「デジタル」におさまらない音の量感もよろしいです。肉厚です。

こうきましたか、という仕上がりです。C/Wも、愛を歌い上げた珠玉の一曲。

夏木さんが初監督をされたというＰＶも、カラフルでジューシーな色彩。

原曲の持っている良さを全て打ち消すアレンジ、空気感
夏木マリというキャラクターには向いてない選曲です。

他のアーティストが出しているカバー曲を聴いて勉強するべき
パフィー、つじあやの、BANK BAND、ボニーピンク…
