マクストラが発売されて以来、クラシックとの差が気になっていましたが、公式のホームページで以下の情報を見つけました。

　>>両者のろ材は共に、イオン交換樹脂と活性炭です。＜マクストラ＞フィルターとクラシックフィルターの一番の違いは、水とろ材との接触時間にあります。これは形状の違いによるもので、＜マクストラ＞フィルターのほうが接触時間が長いためによりしっかりとろ過されるようになっております。<<

　>>クラシック・マクストラ共に、フィルターのろ過水量は200Lです。<<

BRITA Maxtra 交換用カートリッジ 3個セット を8/9に購入しましたが
今回のフィルタは前回購入した分だと2回位水を通すと底に溜まる黒い粒がなくなっていたのに今回は6回以上水を通してもまだ黒い粒が出ていました。
特に初回は今まででは考えられないぐらい『黒い水』が出て驚きました。

ちゃんと黒い粒が出てこなくなるまで濯いでから飲んだ味はいつもと変わりませんが、クラシック時代に比べて、黒い粒粒が消えるまでの濯ぎの回数が
フィルターを換えるたびに多くなってるのが少し気になります。

以前はクラシックを使っていましたが、マクストラに変えて1年特に違いは感じません。
マクストラのほうがデザインが好みですね。
水の味は不味くはないです。ミネラルウォーターには劣ると思いますが、
炊飯やコーヒーを入れる度に水道水との違いを感じます。
