確か、１９８１年は草花シリーズでやっていたと思うのですが、
その途中のまとめのようなアルバム。
カセットに録音して何回も聴いたな。
ほんとに、ＣＤ化をずっと待ってました。

このLPは初のCD化です、名曲ばかりで是非ともCD化して欲しいと思っていましたが、今回このような形でCD化されて大感激です。
実は4月発売のCD6枚はすべて初のCD化タイトルばかりで、発売日が4月25日と言う事で宏美さんが32年前（1975年）にデビューした記念すべき日です。

3.0 out of 5 stars 和のメロディーを歌う岩崎宏美+α, 2007/6/16
初めに聞いたとき、夕暮れ時に聞こえてきそうな童謡を思わせるものがあり、
こういった路線でもアルバムを作っていたのかと唖然としました。
歌詞も恋愛の苦しみ、失恋を歌ったものが多く悲しい和の歌謡曲を踏襲した内容。
耳に馴染んでくると日本の片田舎でぼんやりと過ごしているような気分になります。

アルバムが終わった後流れてくるのはそれまでとは正反対の洗練された世界である「摩天楼」、
思い出を振り切るという意味では前曲と共通していても、
まだ学生時代らしき若い日の恋愛の痛みを歌った「絵空事」、
岩崎宏美にしてはちょっと軽すぎた「胸さわぎ」と「潮風の物語」、
メロディーに対して言葉数が詰まってはいるものの「恋待草」で感じた演歌調な濃さがなく
B面にするには惜しい「つぶやけば愛」という五曲です。
