じつに3年ぶりとなるニューシングル。八ヶ岳でのライブに向かう途中、キラキラと光る白菜畑を見た経験から歌詞が生まれたという「黄金の緑」は、世界的インプロヴィゼーション・ギタリストとしても知られる内橋和久の作曲による、抽象的な美しさを持つポップ・チューン。そして「Love scene」は(「情熱」「悲しみジョニー」などのヒット曲を生み出した)朝本浩文が作曲を手がけた、スィートなラブソング。"UA×菊地成孔"名義による「cure jazz」に関するインタビューの際、「これからはポップなものに迎えそうな気がしている」という趣旨の発言をしていたUA。その最初の答えがこのシングルであることは、言うまでもないだろう。さらに心地よく解放されているボーカルにも、彼女に訪れた新しい季節が、色鮮やかに映し出されている。(森朋之)

ここ最近かなり個性的な楽曲が多かったUAですが
久々のシングルとなる今作は意外にポップでナチュラルな聴きやすい４曲となっています。
タイトル曲「黄金の緑」は普遍的な愛を描いたゆったりめのポップチューン。
UAののびやかなボーカルがとても心地よいです。
「Love scene」は朝本浩文作曲で男女の愛を描いたUAらしい甘い雰囲気のラブソング。
「Touch me not」は羽鳥ミホ（チボ・マット）による作詞/作曲となっていて
どこか涼しげで初夏の雰囲気を感じます。
「Golden Green」はタイトル曲の英語バージョンとなっていて
４曲入りと充実していますが、統一感があり気持ちよく聴けます。
やはりUAの温かみのあるのびやかなボーカルが印象的です。

すごくのびやかで、体が音楽に溶けていきそうな感じでした。
上の方も書かれていたけど、bird？と間違えそうだったり。
歌詞もすごくいい。
ただ聞くだけでほっとします。

ここ最近、どこまで行っちゃうの??とでも、声をかけたいくらいに
ただならぬ深化をみしてきたUA。
しかしながら、今作ではぴっくりするくらいにポップな仕上がりで非常に聴きやすい♪
変に身構えるコトなく、爽やかに聴けて、流れるようなサウンドに身を預けちゃえば、もうそれだけでイイ感じ、のポップ感覚。夏にも適応。

♪黄金の緑
の方は、なんとなくbirdっぽいなぁ〜という印象?
サラサラした感じで、アーシー。海っぽくも。
また、♪love sceneは、タイトル曲同様ゆったりとしたテンポ感が心地よく
またメロディーはキュートで、名曲・プライベートサーファーを彷彿とさせるレベル。
個人的にはコチラに一票☆

あとMusic Videoの方も、ザラッとした質感が格好いいいよね。

夏にむけて、是非ともこんなスタンスで一枚アルバム聴きたいなあ〜ぁ♪♪
