2年ぶりのニューシングル発売。2007年4月よりスタートするNHK朝の顔 NHK連続テレビ小説「どんど晴れ」主題歌に決定!

2006年は「ap bank fes '06」への出演、ゆずやスキマスイッチとのコラボレーションやKAT-TUNへの楽曲提供など他アーティストとの活動をし、自身の作品をリリースが無かった小田和正。
遂に、明治安田生命企業CMソングとして現在もOA中のヒット曲「たしかなこと」から約2年ぶりとなるニューシングルの発売が決定!
2007年4月よりスタートするNHK連続テレビ小説「どんど晴れ」の主題歌として、4月2日より毎週月曜日から土曜日までTVより歌声が流れます。
カップリングには「哀しいくらい」(オフコース「OVER」収録曲)をセルフカバーで収録。

歌詞もメロディーもやさしいですね。
新しいようで懐かしい、そんな気分にさせてくれます。
ふわっと包まれるようなそんな曲です。
さあ、明日も頑張るか。

　お昼のTV番組を昼食時に見るのですが、そこでかかるテーマ曲をいつも聞いているうちに大好きな曲になってしまいました。メロディーも歌唱法も独特でとても印象的です。
　小田さんはまだオフ・コースにいた時によく聴きました。ワインの匂いの頃です。その後、あまり聞く機会はありませんでした。
　コピーしてギターで歌っていると、まるで自分（を含め同じ世代の人々）に対する小田さんの応援歌のように聞こえてきます。

小田さんの優しく澄んだ歌声は疲れた心に栄養を与えてくれるようです。
聞いているとよし、頑張ろう！と前向きになれるこの曲は私にとって大切な曲になりました。
疲れたときには目を閉じて、静かにこの曲を聴くと良いかと。
きっと優しい気持ちになれるのでは、と思います
