このCDについて

本作、Fed MUSIC全国デビューとなるミニ・アルバムは、限定シングル曲とは別のFedを象徴する新曲2曲に、ZG5時代の楽曲の良さを証明する4曲をリアレンジ収録(まるで新曲です)。そして彼らが愛してやまないTHE POLICEの名曲 So Lonely カヴァーと、昨年UKデビューを果たし、ヨーロッパでの注目度うなぎ登りのスウェーデンのLO-FI-FNK REMIXまでも収録。バンド名変更後の活動に注目が集まる中、話題性抜群のデビュー・ミニ・アルバムとなります。音楽性は、バンド名が変わったことで、ぐっとカラフルに。今までのUK, USのROCKサウンドはもちろんのこと、LFFがREMIXしてくれた80'sテイスト溢れるドリーミーPOPソングからJAZZテイストまでも取り入れたジャンルレスな音楽性に、伸びやかでキレのある特徴的なリクのVOCALが乗ることで、独特の世界観を作り上げております。
2000年10月、「ZARIGANI 5」として結成。これまでに2枚のマキシ・シングル、1枚のミニ・アルバム、2枚のフル・アルバムをリリース。03年には「RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2003 in EZO」に出演するなど、ライブバンドとして活発に活動をこなす。しかし、自分達主体の活動を希望し事務所を離れ、下北沢SHELTERにて自主企画 Age of innosense を始め、その自主企画のライブで出来上がった全10曲を集めた2nd ALBUMをNiw!Recordsよりリリース。レコ発ツアーではriddim saunter, he, ala, アスファルトフラストレーションを初めとする多数のバンドと30箇所を2回に分けてまわり、2度のFINAL SHELTERも盛況に終えた。そして2007年に向けせわしなくライブ活動を行った彼らだが、満を持して(笑)バンド名を変更することに。06年に公募をした中から様々な要素を拝借し、決まった新バンド名が Fed MUSIC。I fed music to you=私はあなたに音楽を届ける をコンセプトに、07年から早速TOURを敢行。その会場で限定シングルを販売している。
