歌うのが長井秀和氏と聞き、最初は「まーたそうやってコメディアンに無理矢理歌わせて……」と思っていたのですが、オンエア当日、実際に聞いた感想は「これは掘り出し物だ!!」

歌唱力どうこうでなく彼の持つ表現力に驚かされました。妖怪の持つなんともいえないおどろどろしさが滲み出ている一方で、どこか愛嬌もあるような、「ゲゲゲの鬼太郎」の楽曲として非常に完成度は高いと思います。

個人的に今期のOPはもう一つだったのですが、このEDで全てが許せます（笑）

長井秀和と聞いて、所詮企画もののくだらんもんだろうと思っていたら大間違い。
まず、長井秀和が前面に押し出されていない。知らずに聞けば、歌い手が長井秀和とはわからないだろう。
メロディーが耳になじんで、♪ヒュードロパッパ♪なんて口ずさんでいる自分がちょっと怖い。
