全体的によくまとまっていて、いいカメラだと思います。価格も1.5万円程度でメーカーの安心感も得られるのであれば十分でしょう。
　今回の購入後はインドでの利用で、予備にもう一台PENTAXのデジカメを持参しましたがこちらは稼動することなく、この一台で塵や埃の多いインドでも５０日間無事に稼動しました。
また単3乾電池駆動も電池の持ちもよく、フラッシュ使用と未使用が１：１の割合でも2300mAhのニッケル水素電池で120枚は確実に撮影できました。因みに自動オフ設定は3分にした状態です。
　問題は電池ボックスの蓋のバネのロックが若干弱く、純正キャリングケースでないとケースに引っ掛かり電池が飛び出してしまう事もあります。

別にニコンに肩入れするわけではないが、ニコンはローエンドの機種でも手を抜いていないという印象。何やかや言っても結局は画質の良否。このL11は、最近購入した値段が2.5倍以上のIXY1000と比べても画質では引けを取らない。むしろL11の方が少しいいかも知れない。画像のデータサイズが比較的小さいのも嬉しいが、何と言ってもこのカメラのアドバンテージは電源が単三電池2本であること。どこででも手に入る安価な乾電池だから、電池切れの際に大いに助かる。起動やレスポンスも速く、肩肘張らずに気軽にパシャパシャとスナップを取るには最高。coolpix L11とIXY1000を比べ見ると、今のコンパクトディジカメは価格差はあっても、画質に有意差は無いのでは？と思えてくる。ならば安いに越したことはない。あとは好みのデザインで選ぶということか。ということで、このcoolpix L11は超お買い得の一台といえそう。

　写真では小さく見えますが、実物はそれほど小さくもなく、本体重量も125gですがバッテリーを入れると思ったほど軽くもありません。本体重量が軽いのは本体が樹脂製だからでしょうか。概観についてはシンプルであきのこないものになっています。グリップは男性の手には少し小さいかもしれません。

　機能の面ではフェイスクリアー機能を搭載し、シーンモードも豊富で多様な状況に対応できる手堅いつくりのカメラといった印象です。値段も手ごろなので積極的に外へ持ち出してたくさん撮影したいという方にオススメです。ただし、オートフォーカスの合焦スピードはゆっくりめです。ここがもう少し早ければ…。
