一番の観どころ。オープニングで、まだ若い３７歳のデンゼル・ワシントンが引き締まった体を見てくれといわんばかりに登場。その後は口髭なんかつけて年齢を上げて見せてはいるが、明らかに若いデンゼルが居た。その彼を、不気味さを出させたら一流のジョン・リスゴーが、復讐の鬼となって追いつめる。
追いつめるジョン・リスゴー、追いつめられていくデンゼル・ワシントン、その掛け合いがなんと言ってもこの作品の観どころ。
この２人の競演、今後もなかなか無いのではないか。その意味では貴重な作品。

やった!
個人的には大好きな映画です。
とにかく話がむちゃくちゃ。
主人公が悪いやつに復讐され、やり返す話なんですが、
とにかく犯人がえげつない!そして主人公のやり返し方も非道。
どちらもやり過ぎで、それがおもしろいだけの映画です。
やっとDVDになってくれた…。
物語の質的には星一つもあげられませんが、
そのえげつなさが個人的にツボなので星五つ。
期待して観ると間違いなく後悔します。

レンタル屋で発見しパッケージをみたかんじではサスペンス大作かなと思い期待して観てみたら…なんじゃこら…。すでに最初の時点で嫌な予感が。結局最後までうすっぺらい内容でがっかり。あいだあいだで失笑してしまう場面がありはっきしゆうてB級映画です。キャストがキャストだけにひじょーーーに残念な作品です。もう二度と観ないですね(笑)
