本人の経歴の中でも、割合有名なものやライブで歌う頻度の高い
バラード曲を集めたアルバム。
声に関して安心して聞ける「歌姫 ダブル・ディケイド」からの収録曲が
多く、「予感」、「陽炎」などの小品も入れられていることが嬉しいです。
魂を削りながら歌うような「難破船」と「帰省」、
はらはらと寂しさの闇へ落ちてゆく「SOLITUDE」など再録にも不満はありません。
初心者に「難破船」のようなバラード曲を集めたアルバムが無いか尋ねられて
薦められるものではあります。

ただファンとしては、一曲くらい意外な選曲をしてほしかったと
複雑な思いに…

「SOLITUDE」「月華」の世界観が気に入った方はこれをきっかけに
なかなかこれまで歌われることの無かった昔のバラード曲を
多数歌った2003年のライブDVD「I hope so」をぜひ見てほしいと思います。

これからの季節にピッタリです。ぜひとも、Tvで
歌って欲しいです。
聞いたあなただけが分かる、明菜のすばらしい歌唱力!

新曲タイトル「あの夏の日」…意味深です(笑)
どんなメロディーにのせてどんな歌詞の世界を魅せてくれるのか
明菜さんを見続けてきた人達にとってはタイトルだけでも
気になってしまいますよね。
そして新録の「難破船」…加藤登紀子さんが明菜ちゃんにしか歌えない曲として
送った名曲が20年の時を経て蘇るんですね〜。また、テレビの歌番組では一度も歌わず
コンサート映像も世に出ていない、ライブのみの記憶の名曲「帰省」も
新録として入ってるようで☆
今回のベストの柱として、アクトレス＝女優の観点から明菜さん自身が
選曲したみたいですが、15曲の歌物語を明菜さんがどう歌い繋いで演じているのか、
25年のキャリアを積んだ「明菜の表現力」も聴き込んでほしいです。
