２００６年最初の武士道。大晦日にチャンピオンとなった五味の顔見せ興行のはずが・・・・・・・・。はっきり言って五味ファンには本当におすすめできない。会場で見ていたけれども、あの悲壮感と重苦しい雰囲気は今でも忘れられない。

ただ、ハンセン対アゼレードのライト級トップクラス同士の試合や、大盛り上がりの殴り合いを展開したパルヴァー戦、美濃輪モンスターシリーズのジャイシル戦など試合はとてもおもしろいと思う。

五味の敗北がライト級をおもしろくしたという意見もあるし、五味に絶対王者であって欲しかったという意見も出た曰く付きの興行。興味がある方は見てもいいかと思う。

五味が負けた。やっぱり彼も人の子でした。残念ながら。大晦日のマッハ戦で燃え尽き症候群になった感じでした。たしかに衝撃的だったけど、この日がまた彼をさらに強くした。そう思う。やっぱりライト級のエースは五味しかいない。永ちゃんだって地獄を見て、それを乗り越え強くなった。これからまだまだ目が離せない。

はっきり言って五味の衝撃的敗戦は、当時の私は私生活にも支障をきたす程ショックを受けたね、立ち直るのに時間がかかったのをおぼえている、2004GP ミルコまさかの敗戦の時と同じ苦しみだね、みんなもそうじゃないかな?
