ライブでのパフォーマンスがものすごく印象に残ったバンド。
詩も恥じらいが無いぐらいの直球な言い回し。下品だったりたまにキレイだったり。ただ何故か惹かれてしまう。
演奏も熱い。特にキーボードの演奏がいい感じだ。
でも好き嫌いはっきりするでしょうね。

Vo.後藤まり子の過剰なパフォーマンスやドぎつい表現は、確かにそれ自体エンターテインメントかつそれ以上の何かを喚起させる唯一無二の才能だとは思いますが、それにしてもこの『セカンド』は純粋に音楽的にとてもすばらしい作品だと私は思います。
洗練されたエモーショナルかつスピード感のあるジャジーなピアノの旋律と、それとは相反するように思われる後藤まり子のパンクな表現が渾然一体となって生み出される楽曲の数々は、アクロバティックかつスリリングでありながら、青春パンクにありがちなひとりよがりな表現欲求の自慰行為に陥らずに、洗練されたひとつの完成されたスタイルとして音が鳴っているように思います。
ジャケの見た目やイメージで毛嫌いせずにぜひ一度聴いてみて欲しい1枚です。もちろん好き嫌いはあるでしょうが、楽曲のよさ、演奏のレベルの高さ、そしてバンドというものの化学反応によって生み出されるグルーヴや高揚感は、ここ最近のバンドにはなかった熱量を感じ取れます。
