パニック!アット・ザ・ディスコが所属する『フュエルド・バイ・ラーメン』レーベルからデビューする爽快パワー・ポップ・バンドのデビュー・アルバム!
ニューヨーク州、バッファロー出身の4人組。まだまだ全員10代後半~20歳の彼らが生み出す「知的な歌詞のパワーポップ」(Vo.シャント曰く)は、瞬く間に「MySpace」や「PureVolume」といったオンライン・コミュニティで半端無い注目を集め、2005年の春には「PureVolume」がオンライン上で行ったバンド・コンテストBattle Of the Bandsで見事優勝。何と結成3回目のライヴでBAMBOOZLEフェスティヴァルで目立つ順番での出演を果たす。当然いろいろなレーベルから誘いを受けることになるが、交通渋滞にハマっている所にフュエルド・バイ・ラーメンのジョン・ヤニックから電話があり、元々レーベルの大ファンだったバンドは二つ返事で契約。2006年の2月にはマット・スクワイア(パニック!アット・ザ・ディスコ/スライスなど)をプロデューサーに迎え、デビュー・アルバムのレコーディングを開始。アルバム収録曲のゼアズ・ア・クラス・フォー・ディスにはヴォーカルのシャントがリスペクトするレーベル・メイトのThe Academy Is...のWilliam Beckettも参加。ジャック・マネキンともツアーしたことのある彼ら、フュエルド・バイ・ラーメン・レーベルの今年の成長注目株である!

2007 issued Japanese edition that includes the bonus track "Lyrical Lies" (Electric Version) and the enhanced video clip for "There's a Class For This". Limited low price edition for the first pressing only.

懐かしく、甘酸っぱい青春時代を思い出させてくれる珠玉の曲たち。
安定感ある美しいメロディー、ボーカルの声も少年系でちょいハスキーでいい感じです。
新しさよりも、懐かしさを感じさせてくれるサウンドです。
個人的には、サイダーのCMとかに使って欲しい。
さわやかなサウンドです。海辺をドライブしながら、公園をウォーキングしながら聴いたら
ぴったり。
