【アーティストについて】
1972年米国ニューヨーク生まれ。ショーン・パフィ・コムズに見出され、彼のレーベル、バッド・ボーイの看板ラッパーとして95年デビュー。その巨体とラップのスキルで早くから人気を集め、「ジューシー」「ビッグ・ポッパ」などが次々と大ヒットし一躍スターダムに。当時2パックとNo.1人気ラッパーの覇権争いをし、"東西対決"としてマスコミも騒がせたがやがて銃撃事件に発展し、97年3月殺害される。

どっちかっていうと癒し系の声質で2pacより好きです。

どれか一つ上げろ言われれば、やはりbig poppaですね。
お洒落で最高の音楽なのだが、どこか悲哀を感じる、どことなく大人の雰囲気が漂う曲です。

Hypnotizeも最高で、よく怪しいバーでかかっていたりします。
まさにビギーの魅力に催眠術をかけられることでしょう。

2pacより日本でメジャーでないのは、やはりちょっとキャッチーな曲が少ないことかな？
ちょっと手を抜いて作ったかな？という曲も混じっている感じはします。
