このDVDはいわゆるPVを集めたものではありません。
CD以上の高音質のものを出したかったが、SACDやDVDオーディオでは購入層が限られる為、
普及率の高いDVDビデオで24bit/96kHzという形にしたと思われます。

モーションピクチャーはDVDビデオというフォーマット上、動画が何もなしという訳にも
いかないので作成されたものではないかとちょっと穿った見方も可能なレベルのものです。

しかし、ここまでして高音質のものを出すという椎名林檎の意図は確実に伝わってくる
素晴らしい作品だと思います。CDの時点でもかなり音質は素晴らしかったですが、さらに
広がりが増し、クリアかつやわらかなサウンドになっていると思います。

冒頭に書いた通り、PV集ではないのでそういったものを期待されている方にはお勧めしませんが
平成風俗をもっと高音質で聴きたい方、椎名林檎が「平成風俗」という作品で目指したかった
ものをリアルに感じたい方にはお勧めです。

この作品を初めて見る時は、そんなに期待しないで「映像にBGMが付いてる」程度に力を抜いて見た方が良いです。

林檎さんの露出がほとんど無いので大半のファンは物足りないと思います。

個人的には、錯乱・ハツコイ・パパイヤ・浴室・ポルター・カリソメ2種・花魁・この世は良かったですが、「夢のあと」は名曲なだけに期待外れでした。

歌詞カードの類いは凝っていてなかなか面白く、“試飲会”はスタッフと林檎さんの貴重なやり取りも聞けます。

本当に林檎さんが好きな方は買うべきです。
一度ハマると癖になりますが、それなりの環境がなきゃ音質の違いは分からないので高い買い物かも。

高音質版を待っていた人には朗報だと思います。
彼女の特徴的な歌声をよりリアルにSACDかDVD-audioでリリースをしてほしいと思った人は多いと思います。
この規格ならば違いのわかる諸兄も満足ではないでしょうか？
あわせてアナログ盤もでていますが評価すべきでしょうね。
通常のCDとどれも音質が違いますので違いのわかる諸兄ならばぜひとも聞いてほしいと思います。
