７０年安保後、時代を覆った社会を直接問うのでは無く、
自分の目からみえる範囲のみを歌う内省的な曲達に
ついた称号が、四畳半フォークでありました。（当時の
若者の平均的アパートの間取りは、４畳半１間トイレ有り
風呂無し）その最終のヒット曲が「神田川」であります。
何故、最終かというと、時代は荒井由美女史と井上揚水氏の
登場により「ニューミュージック」との怪しい名称の曲が
かっぽしだします。フォークの生命線であった歌詞より
「サウンド」に重点を置く流れが加速していきます。
そんな時代にあって、「神田川」は登場した瞬間から
今現実の話なのに、「ノスタルジア」を誘いヒットし
ていきます。皆、「今」が失われていくことに感慨を
もっていたんでしょうね。

音が生きています。もしかしたらアナログ盤よりもよいかも知れません。神田川はもちろんですがその他の曲も全てが思い出深く、今回のリマスターはその想いがより深くなりました。こうせつの声のつややかさ。ギターの質感、パンダさん、正やんの声、こんな音にしてくれてクラウンさんありがとうございますという感じです。今までのディスクを持ってらっしゃる方々も買いなおして損のない出来上がりです。神田川のシングルバージョンもぜひリマスターをお願いいたします。
