40歳を迎えたトータス松本が、青春語らしたらまだまだ十代にも負けへんぐらい語れるで！という意味を込めて書き上げた今作。
青春時代と呼ばれているような時期を過ぎても、まだまだ情熱は枯れてないぜと言わんばかりの元気な曲に仕上がっています。
フルメンバーに戻ってからのウルフルズ...実にいい曲を次々作っているように思えます。
昔は元気なノリの良いバンドと思ってましたが、ここ最近のウルフルズの作る楽曲を聴くと、バンド名の通りソウルフルな曲を作れる素晴らしいバンドだなと感じてしまいました。
今作も、明るく前向きになれてしまう素晴らしい出来です。

それは、「普通の」音楽だからなんだろうな。
身近な、何気ない人がふっと突き抜けた瞬間の格好よさってあるでしょ?
ウルフルズの音楽ってそういうエッセンスが濃縮されてる。

「後悔はしない」と言う人は後悔ばかりの人生だから、そう言う。
ウルフルズが好きな人って、きっとクヨクヨしてばかりの人なんだよ。

大した歌詞でもないし、飛び抜けて高い楽曲でもない。
でも誰にも真似できないんだな。

ケーヤン、ジョンB、サンコンの「ランニンランニン」って馬鹿馬鹿しいコーラスが入ってきた瞬間、僕は泣きそうになる。

快作。

「情熱A　GO　GO」　は、パワーをもらえる曲。
そして「恋の涙」は、まったく違う切ない曲。
余計な言葉のない、誰の心にも伝わる音作りは、さすがだと思います。
どちらも、ウルフルズらしい、何度聞いても飽きないシンプルで心に響く曲。
こんな歌作り、誰にも真似なんてできやしない！
