聴く人によって評価が分かれるアルバムだと思います。
Avrilの楽曲の持つポップ性を求めていた人にとってはいいアルバムだと思います。キャッチコピーにもある通り、ハッピーな時に聴けばもっとハッピーにしてくれそうなアルバムです。今の彼女が幸せであることもよく伝わってきます。

しかし、私はAvrilにロックを求めていたので非常に残念でした。
1stを聴いたときの衝撃は今でも忘れません。「自分はロックしてるのよ」とうわべだけ取り繕ってどこかのお偉いさんからもらった曲で売り込みに来たアイドルと違うことは、ジャケットと楽曲が証明していました。ライブでギターをかき鳴らしながら歌う姿を見たとき、「彼女は本物だ」と思いました。2ndでもその期待が裏切られることはなく、これからどう成長していくのかとても楽しみでした。
そして今回届いた3rdアルバム...愕然としました。
まず、彼女のスタイルがロックからアイドルへと変わったということ。シングル曲とプロモを見て思いました。自身はそうは思っていないかもしれませんが、明らかに変わった。確かにノリはいいかもしれない。けれど、何も心に残らない。反アイドルであったはずなのに...
またプロモについていうならば、彼女は「攻撃」の対象を間違えているのではないでしょうか？以前のAvrilならば間違えたってこんなプロモを作らないでしょう。うわべ・見た目だけのアイドルになってしまったとしかいいようがありませんでした。

私のような意見を持っていた人にはおすすめできません。

音楽性についていろいろな意見が出てますが、幅が拡がったと捉えるのがいいのでは。Avril魂健在ですよ。
アップチューンとバラード、両方かっこよく歌いこなす稀有な存在だと思います。

やはり評判通りのハジケ具合です。
それはそれでいいんだけど
アヴリルは好きだし私はパンクも好き。
もちろん旦那のバンドsum41も大好きですが正直デリックが参加した曲one of those girls以外のパンクの曲は何度も聞こうと思えない・・これもデリックのテクニックあってのものかなぁ・・アヴリルの歌声というより演奏がうまいからかなぁ。
パンクといってもやはりGreendayなどとの格の違いが見える。パンクの中でもっともっと違う表現が出来たんじゃないかと少しがっかりしています。パンクをアヴリルがどうとらえているかは分かりませんが、楽しくて元気でハチャメチャなだけがパンクじゃないのです。
例えばこれが初めて出てきたバンドなら
大成功といえる方というようなアルバム
このアルバムはリリックス、アシュリー・シンプソン、ヒラリー・ダフと例えられるでしょう。

個人的に
何度も聞き返すだろう曲は
when you're gone
innoccence
だと思います。
この曲達は良い曲です。アヴリルはやはりこういう曲の方が合うんじゃないかな。
個人的な感想ですが。本物に必須なのはその人の精神世界がどれだけ人を惹き付けるかどうかだと思います。
今回のアヴリルには正直それは無いと思います。女の悪口を歌ったりくだらない女王様を気取ったり、それは違うと思う。もっと音楽を大事にする人だと思ってたんですが。
