アヒトイナザワ(ex.ナンバーガール)率いるVOLA & THE ORIENTAL MACHINEの1st FULL ALBUM!!
今作ではファン熱望 L・O・V・Eの振りでお馴染みの「Mexico Pub」を初音源化、さら
に隠れた名曲「夢診断」を盟友、POLYSICS ハヤシがREMIX!シングル曲「羽根の光」は
新たに録音を行い、より尖ったVOLAサウンドに進化を遂げた。上記3曲、雑誌「P.S.」
のCMで使用されている新曲2曲を含む特濃全10曲が凝縮されてパッケージされる。
昨年1月に初音源としてミニアルバムをリリース。瞬く間にシーンのトップに躍り出て
以来、数々のイベントやフェスに引っ張りだこのなか楽曲の制作作業をこなし、10月
にシングル「羽根の光」をリリース!徐々に回転数を上げて、ためこんだエナジーは今

これは・・・物凄い妖しくて、艶があって狂気も詰まった最高のアルバムだ。
こういう感じのバンドは最近減少してるのでこういうバンドが出てくるのはいいことだ。
精神的ではなく実際に狂気を振りまいてくれる音を出すバンド・・・最高。

とにかく全曲いい。イマイチな曲が無い。敢えて言えば｢夢診断｣のリミックスは
結構浮いているが逆に私はアナーキーな曲達の中にこういう電子的な音を入れることにより
バランスが取れたと思う。だた人によっては「？」な方もいるかも。

音楽的には前作の特徴を引きつぎずつ幅を広げた感じ。所謂ニューウェーブであるが
エキゾチックな感じもするし、笛の音が入っていたりと既存の物との差別化は済み。
アヒト流のニューウェーブ。とにかく踊りたい・艶のあるロックを聴きたい人には
完全にお勧め。基本的にノリはいいので結構どんな人でもはまれるんじゃないかな〜。

ちなみに「羽根の光」はアルバム・ミックスの方が断然いい。
待ってて良かった〜。しばらくはこれで踊り狂い続けられそうだ。次回作も期待。

前2作を買ってハマった人なら確実に買いです。ハズレがありません。羽根の光リリース時にアヒトがインタビューで、「隠し球、まだまだありますよ。」と言っていたけど、まさにその通りでした。ギターやベース、ドラムの音のバランスも良いので耳コピも容易にできますね。
