1/100アカツキフルセット。まぶしいほどキンキラキンで、とてもキレイ。プロポーションはうまくまとまっている。細かいディテールはＭＧには及ばないが、シルエットでは遜色なし。可動はヒジ、ヒザは二重関節の採用、腕も高く上がりＭＧ並みによく動く。ただ、股関節はしょぼい。台座があるので地面に立たせる必要がなく、空中でのポーズをつけることが多いが、股が広がらないので表現は制限されてしまう。もうちょっとがんばってほしかった。オオワシ、シラヌイが両方付属しており、ＨＧのように別売りではないところはナイス。一つ贅沢を言うと、当然本体には片方しか装着できないので、もう片方は余る。その余ったほうも本体と同時に台座に飾れるような細工があればよかったんだけどな・・・。あと付属の台座でなく、バンダイ製の別売りのアクションベースにもバッチリ対応している。総合すれば満足できるキットである。高いけど。

∞ジャスティス・レジェンド同様、キット化にあたってビークラフトがコンセプトデザインを手掛けているので、
全体的なプロポーションはヒーロー体型でビシッとしている。
合わせ目も比較的目立たない構成で、可動についても殆ど問題無いレベル。

さて、このキット最大の売りであるヤタノカガミ再現のためのメッキ仕様。
確かにアレのイメージをそのままキットにトレースするならば一番好ましい方法なのだが…。
よく見ると、細かなゴミが定着剤塗りつけの段階で付着しているものが多い。
知り合いの店で店頭陳列分の商品を直に調べてみたのだ（勿論、扱いには細心の注意を払った）が、
殆どのものは必ずどこかのパーツにゴミが付着していた。
更には、搬送時に他のランナーと干渉したのか、エッジ部分のメッキが少し剥げ落ちているものも。
組み上げ後に目立たない箇所であれば気にする事も無いのだろうが、肩や胸部の装甲など、目立つ箇所にゴミや剥げがあるとどうしても気になってしまう。
なので、購入の際には割り切った考えが必要かと思われる。
私が買ったものも大鷲の主翼上面（他数箇所）にゴミが見受けられた。
はてさて、これを綺麗に処理する方法……無いものかね(;-Д-)

SEEDの1/100シリーズはあたりはずれが大きいシリーズですが、その中でアカツキは最近のMGなみの可動範囲とプロポーションのよさはいい感じです。

しかし、このメッキパーツはやめてもらえないだろうか。塗装派にとってはこのメッキパーツほど厄介なものはない。
元々ガンプラは子供たちのためのようなものだから、塗装をしない子供たちのためにメッキパーツで金色に再現するのは良いと思う。しかし、値段が7000円近くも値が張るのはどうかなぁ
