出るようでなかなか出なかった、両シリーズ夢の共演作。
チーム制・3タイプの武将性能・武器融合・無双ゲージ消費アクションなどの新要素を盛り込み
無双ゲージを溜めて無双乱舞・奥義の繰り返しといった従来のスタイルを変更させたコーエーの意欲作と言えるでしょう。

しかし、そのゲームバランスはあまり良いものではなく、武器属性・タイプの性能によりプレイヤー側の攻撃力が非常に高く敵も同様に高くなっているため、「先に攻撃した者勝ち」といった印象が強いです。
また、両シリーズの特徴であるチャージ性能の違いが露骨に出ており、タイプ次第ではチーム制など無視して単体でプレイした方が強い武将が多く存在するなど、新要素の特色を活かしきれていない面があります。
また、プレイモードがストーリー・フリーモードしかなくヤリコミ的要素もかなり薄いです。
史実無視とはいえ、各章ストーリーはもう少しボリュームがあった方がよかったと思います。

よって、OROCHIは全体的に大雑把な印象を受けるゲームだというのが個人的な感想です。
しかし、チーム制システムや3タイプ武将は新鮮であり、一際違った戦闘やコンボ追及などを楽しめますし
プレイヤー武将が高速の動きで敵をガンガン倒していく様は、従来の無双シリーズが霞んでしまうほどの爽快感があります。
まあ、たまにはこんな無双もよいかと。

戦国2猛将伝が出た以上、こちらの猛将伝が出る可能性は否定できませんが、出るとするなら戦国2のようなだいぶ穴のある調整ではなくしっかり行い、2コスなどサービス的なものも少し追加して欲しいものです。

良いと思います。
三国無双5が、糞ゲーと聞いて、こちらにしましたが、正解だったみたいです＾＾

欠点としては、戦国の数キャラが出ないのと、ストーリーがしょぼいのと、十字キーの未対応、エディット無し、対戦無し、２人プレイ時の３人キャラが一緒、コスチュームが色違いのみ、etc
です。

でも、とにかく爽快感のほしかった自分には、ぴったりでしたので、ゲーム評価は5にしました。

今後、同シリーズがでるなら、対戦モード、時間制限制ひたすら狩りモード、エディットモード、別ソフト連動などほしいところです。

キャラクターが多いので楽しいです。
R1の技が追加されているので今まで使用を避けていキャラも多少使いやすくなっています。

ただ、ストーリーが４種類しかないので物足りないですね。

それと呂布のキャラクターアイテムの入手方法が厳しいです。
攻略本にも「２人プレイ推奨」と書かれているというのはどうなんでしょうかね？
