アーティストについて

Reimer Eisingは24歳(2007年現在)の若きアーティスト。 幼児からピアノを弾いていた彼の比類なき繊細なメロディーセンスは時にポップに煌びやかで、センチメンタルなサウンドが際立ち、わずか19歳でデビューアルバム" Dreim "をアメリカのレーベル Kracfiveからリリースする快挙を成し遂げる。 その後2002年にオランダのDuBレーベルから2ndアルバム" Cenny Crush "をリリースするや各国のプレスから沢山の賞賛と取材を浴び、DuBレーベルの方向性を変えるほどの影響力を与えた。彼自身の集大成とも言える5thアルバム"Through Friendly Waters"は発売当初わずか500枚限定で実兄のレーベルSending Orbsのみで販売されたにも関わらず、世界的に名が知れ渡る金字塔アルバムとなり現在は全世界でout of stockとなっている。ここ日本でもこのアルバムの評価や話題は各々の音楽通サイトやブログなどで絶賛され、近年のエレクトロニカを振り返ったときに必ず取り上げられる幻のアルバムと評され全世界が再発を望んでいた。このアルバムをKettel本人がより深みのあるファンタジーなエンデイングへといざなう楽曲を2曲追加し、全曲をより高音質にマスタリングし直した" Re Through FriendlyWaters "として奇跡の正規リリースとなった!

限定500枚（！）で売り出したところ即完売となり、噂になっていた作品がリミックスを含めて再発。
みずみずしいフレーズのピアノがキモで、それに電子音、生楽器、サンプリング・ノイズが絡まっていく。
時折ビートがうっとうしく感じられる部分もあるが、頭のモードを切り替えてリラックスしたいときにぴったりの、和む系エレクトロニカ。
普通、エレクトロニカといったらこういう音を想像するんじゃないかな？というわけで、電子音楽初心者にもおすすめ。
