ポップでノリノリな感じで曲自体は高い水準にあります
でも歌詞の内容は略奪愛。この曲のPVは胸糞悪いです
そのイメージがついてしまって、どうにも好きになれません…

　最近TV朝日の「ミュージック・ステーション」に出演したアヴリルを見た5歳の娘がすっかりはまってしまった。彼女はそれ以来、「ヘイヘイユーユー！」と腕を振り上げ腰を振りながらデタラメな歌詞を歌っている。この間もCDショップで流れていた「ガールフレンド」のPVにあわせて、傍目も気にせず踊っているのを見て、すっかりアヴリルに感心してしまった。「年齢、性別を問わず」とはまさしく彼女のことであり、彼女の作る音楽だと。何を隠そう父親の私も、彼女の音楽に元気をもらっている。

　賛否両論となっているアヴリルの新曲ですが、個人的に前のアヴリルを想像して作品を聞いてしまわなければ、ポップで軽いナンバーなので結構いいと思うのですが・・・。
　ミュージシャンの目指す方向は、どんどん変わっていくし、それは自然なこと。
　だから、個人的にはアヴリルらしくはないけど、まったく違うアーティストとして聞けばいい曲だと思います。
　かといって、それに対してリスナーが怒るのも当然なこと。彼女はこの作品でファンをかなりなくしたと思います。逆にアヴリルのファンになった人もいるかもしれません。
　でも私が思うに如何であれ、アヴリルがそこまで批判を受ける事を分かっていたのに(分かっていなかったとしても)、それまでしてもこの作品を世に出したかったアヴリルはとても勇敢だったと思います。
　とにかく、彼女は結婚してとってもハッピーらしいので、それだけで私はうれしいです。
　ちなみに、ちょっとだけ聞いて嫌いと思い込んでしまうより、一回全部聞いてみると、感想が変わるかもしれないので、ちゃんと聞かなかった人は一度全部聞いてみてください。
