本シングルは2007年4月21日(土)より全国東宝系270スクリーン以上で公開されるGW映画「クレヨンしんちゃん 嵐を呼ぶ 歌うケツだけ爆弾!」の主題歌に決定。
主題歌となる「Cry Baby」はストリングスとピアノの旋律が印象的なミディアム・チューンで、「生きる勇気」や「友情」をテーマにしたスケール感のある壮大な楽曲に仕上がっている。

初回生産限定盤にはアルバム『LIVE GOES ON』からのリード曲となり、名古屋在住の女性シンガーAZUをフィーチャリングした女性ファンに人気のラヴソング「心の声」と昨年末からO.A.され話題となっている「マタアイマショウ」の新PV(人気放送作家 鈴木おさむ氏が企画で参加)を収録した特典DVD付。

大ヒットしたマタアイマショウよりも個人的には好きな曲です。
バラードだけど明るくてリズムの良いメロディーはいいと思いました。
最近有名になってきて、少しずつ腕を上げてきてるな〜と思える曲でした。

この曲はSEAMOの過去の辛ぃ体験をそのまま歌詞にした曲デス。

歌詞の1つ1つを辿って行くと

本当に心に染みる曲デス。

SEAMOじゃ無かったら、書けなぃ

もし、他のアーティストの方が似た歌詞を書いても
全然うすっぺらい感じになってると思ぃマス。

辛ぃ体験を過去にし、

そんな過去を今振り替えって見て書ぃた。

そんな曲です。

きっと、SEAMOは自分と同じ体験をしている人達をも
励ましたい気持ちを含めて歌詞にしているんでしょうね♪

TVやラジオでは、エロのおっさんキャラですが

本当に強い方、本当の意味でカッコイイ方だなと思いました。


しんちゃんの歌ですが、本当に本当にいい曲デス

映画を見に行きたいと思いました。

SEAMO自信エンディングでこの曲が流れ

感動のあまり泣いてしまったそうです。

SEAMOにとって

その位深ぃ意味が詰まった曲なんだと思ぃます


子供がこの曲を理解するのは難しいでしょうね★


10年以上後に聞ぃて分かるでしょうね。



今後の曲も楽しみデス♪

生きていたら当然。
泣きたい夜は何度でも来る。
そンな時、泣いても良いンだョ…と、ソッと肩を抱いてくれる…髪を撫でてくれる…こンな自分に共鳴し受け入れ抱き寄せてくれる…
この曲があるから越せる夜がキットある筈。
