ハッピーエンド大好きなハリウッドの中でこれが一番好きというのは皮肉だけどｗ本当なんだから仕方ない

ここまで何回見ても全く飽きない映画は他にない

何度も観返している映画です。

初めは、周知の通りスリラー映画だと捉えていました。
しかし次第に、これは一つの宗教映画なのではないかと
いうふうに、見方が変わりました。

大食、強欲、怠惰、肉欲、高慢、憤怒、嫉妬という、
キリスト教圏においての七つの罪に次々と罰を下していく犯人。
なんと、彼に次第に感情移入していく自分がいました。

神の視点からは、刑事も殺人犯も罪人である…
日本人の文化圏からは抵抗がある思想でしょうが、
この映画の核心的なテーマは、原罪であると思います。

「神のみわざは不可思議だ…」
物語のクライマックスで犯人がつぶやく言葉を噛み締め、
好きな方も嫌いな方も、ぜひ再々鑑賞していただきたい作品です。

どこまでも湿って、背筋がゾクゾクする映画。

「七つの大罪」という罪の意識は日本人には
パッとしない所があるが、やはり倫理観とか
精神的な所でどこか「悪」と認識する気持ち
は少なからず誰にでもあるのかも。
ジョン・ドゥみたいな存在は決して非現実的
ではなく、妙に現実味を帯びてるからこそ恐い。

ラストシーンのブラッド・ピットの迫真の演技力には脱帽した。
まだウブなミルズと、冷たさを知ってるサマセットの対極な面
が惹きたてられていたが、もし仮に最後の決断の対象が
ミルズとサマセット逆ならどうなっていただろ？

快楽的で冷たい都会に降り注ぐ雨が最後まで何とも
表現できない感情を漂わせる。
