【アーティストについて】
1988 年のメジャーデビュー以降、幾度かのメンバーチェンジやレコード会社の移籍等はあったものの、その唯一無比な音楽性とキャラクターで日本のロックシーンに君臨した筋肉少女帯ですが、惜しまれつつも、1998 年7 月渋谷公会堂でのLIVE を最後に活動を凍結致しました。
そんな筋肉少女帯が、2006 年12 月28 日、かの聖地、中野サンプラザにて超満員の熱狂的なファンに迎えられ、遂に復活をとげました!!
かつての全盛期にも勝るパワーをひっさげて筋肉少女帯の大復活です!

二枚組、全30曲でこの価格はお徳感があり、総てのアルバムを所有していますが、全曲、リマスタリングされているという事で購入しました。ただ、音質の悪い「仏陀L」からの音源が「釈迦」のみだった事(せめて、モーレツ ア太郎は、入れて欲しかった)と、「いくじなし」が外されたのは、残念。

筋肉少女帯のアルバムはどれも“微妙に”見つかりにくいのでこの手のベスト発売はそんなに悪いとは思わない。
「踊る赤ちゃん人間」で彼らに興味を持ったリスナーにはマストアイテムではないだろうか。
ファンによる選曲に対する不満はベストを発売する上で絶対に避けては通れない道ではあるが
ライトリスナー向きであることを考えればそこまで悪くはない・・・
でも「イワンのばか」は入れるべきでは？「釈迦」も「大釈迦」のほうが・・・
「踊るダメ人間」は「踊る赤ちゃん人間」に新録verが収録されてるんだから、「断罪〜」からは「パブロフの犬」でよかったんじゃ・・
・・・・・ウザイですね、ハイ。・・・・でも「いくじなし」くらいは（ry

メジャー1thアルバム『猫とテブクロ』に収録されてある『日本印度化計画』は“俺にカレーを食わせろ!!”や“カレーはなんて辛いんだーー!!”といった名台詞を残した。オーケンの曲は独特なもので、『詩人オウムの世界』『僕の宗教へようこそ』といった曲は彼だからこそ作れるのだと思う。初期の曲だけではなく90年代後半の曲も収録されてあり、筋肉少女帯の復活にふさわしいベスト。
