3人組ギター・バンドの4枚目。これまでは爆音ギターを中心とする緊迫感に満ちたサウンドが身上だったが、本作で音の幅が格段に広がった。打ち込みや鍵盤楽器が以前よりも増えて随所で効果的に使われ、ギターもラウドなだけではなくアルペジオを多用したり、リズムもゆったりした曲が目立つ。特に、シンセ中心のひんやりした音にラップをのせた「Lives」や、エレピをフィーチャーしたセンチメンタルなメロディーの「Six Day Wonder」などが象徴的だ。それでいて持ち味の疾走感や焦燥感は失われていないし、ラストの壮大なバラードも説得力がある。より奥深い表現力を獲得し、バンドとしての成長を示す作品といえるだろう。(小山 守)

今までのテナーにはない一面が見れたアルバムです。

アルバムのコンパクトさもさながら、１曲１曲テナーのイメージが非常に変わっていて新しい感じがしました。

「TRAIN」がメディアで取り上げられ人気が出てきたテナーですが、昔からのファンもTRAINから聴き始めた人も非常に楽しめるアルバムだと思います。

また、歌詞カードも非常に完成度が高く、何回見ても飽きないものになっています。

確かに、今までのストレイテナーとは少し違うかも知れない。
「バンドは変わるものだろう」と一括りにしても。

でも、軸にあるものは変わってないと思う。
純粋に格好良い。痺れる。ストイックな感じもテナーらしい。

リニア、電車はレールで繋がっている。
きっと音楽もそうなのだと思う。
何処までも行けて、でも繋がりを絶たない。

凄いアルバムだと思う。
どの曲も、どの瞬間も。

曲調だけ聴いてると全くバラバラなのに、このアルバムの統一感はなんだろ。
突っ走ってもいて、水の底に沈んでたりもして。

でも、其処には必ず３人の姿が映ってる。

テナーの作品だからいつでも☆５つを付けてる訳じゃない。
Ｍ７やＭ８の様に今までと全く違うタイプの曲でも真っ直ぐ刺さったから。
今まではひたすら吹き飛ばされていたけど。
圧倒的な熱いテンションにやられてたけど。

染みる。
元々メロウなホリエくんの声が優しく、悲しく伝う曲。

もちろん今までの感覚のアッパーな曲のクオリティーも凄い。
ひなっちのベースはもう響きまくって。
シンペイくんのドラムは激しく走りまくって。

最高にカッコいい。
