【アーティストについて】
90年代後半よりDJ活動を開始。国内外のDJとの共演は多数。2004年12月12inch「Frontier.EP」にてデビュー。続いてフルアルバム「Frontier」を、ageHaCDシリーズをリリースするGATE RECORDSより2005年にリリース。デビュー作としては異例のセールスを記録し、各チャートを賑わし年間CLUBチャート4位に輝き、収録曲「Move Your Feeling」は様々なコンピレーションに収録され話題を呼ぶ。
また、REMIX WORKに於いてもKALEIDOSCOPIO、COSA NOSTRA、RIOVOLT等国内外のアーティストからの支持も厚い。2006年8月にリリースが望まれていた新曲「Dance With You」がコンピレーション「aperitivoTOKYO」に収録。9月リリースの12inch「Sunrise」と、11月リリースの12inch「Stay True EP01」は限定生産の為、いずれも即完。今後の活躍が期待される最注目の若手クリエイター/DJである。

３曲目に入っているＳＵＮＲＩＳＥ一発でやられます。
そのほか全編女性ボーカルですが非常にメロディアスでキャッチーな
ハウスナンバーが全編通して収録されています。
聴きこむもよし、なんとなくＢＧＭにするもよし。いろんなところで活躍するＣＤですね＾＾
これからの春先にかけてジョギングのお供に聴くと
体が動いて、思わず遠くにいけそうです＾＾
これの前に出ているアルバムもいいですよー＾＾

英語の女性ボーカルのHouseで、つぶぞろいの良い曲が連続し、捨て曲無しです。
DJ KAWASAKIとかの曲に似ています。
聴く人を選ばずに気に入られるアルバムだと思います。
YouTubeで3曲目が聴けます。「MAKAI SUNRISE」で検索してください。

調べごとをしていて偶然出てきた"MAKAI"というアーティストをなぜか覚えていて、某レンタルショップで見つけて、ノリで借りてきました。
聞くと、女性ボーカルであったり、音楽性が自分の好みと共通するものが多かったです。
曲は多彩で、前奏から情景が浮かんでくるので思わず鳥肌が立ってしまいました。

自分のお気に入りの曲はWings Of Sorrowです。有坂美香さんの"Sorrow"な表情のある声が美しい一曲です。
