普通では飼えないような海洋生物を飼育するシミュレーションゲーム。3Dで表現された海洋生物を大きな水槽に入れ、水質、クリーニング、水温など環境を整えながら成長させていこう。はじめは30cmにも満たないシロナガスクジラも丹念に育てることで30mを越すようになる。人なつこいバンドウイルカや獰猛なホオジロザメなど多様な海洋生物たちが登場。DSワイヤレス対応により、「クジラ・イルカ・ペンギン」と「テトラ・グッピー・エンゼルフィッシュ」の魚たちを交換して飼育することができる。

個人的に、大作RPGは攻略本を見てまでヤル気が起きないし、どこまでいってもかわりばえのしない「動物の森」もあきていました。「常識トレーニング」も３ヶ月もやってると、「これが常識か？」という世界に突入してしまいます。育てゲーも熱帯魚、ハムスター、子犬なんてものはリアルで飼うことができるし、経験するといまさらゲームで遊ぶ気は起きないものです。
そういう私のような、すれた大人のためでしょうか、このソフトが登場しました！　クジラ、ペンギンやサメなどこそリアルでは無理なものを飼う、というコンセプトもいいですし、水温、共食い、水槽の大きさ、餌などなかなかあなどれません。やっぱり海の生物はいいな。だんだんかわいくなってくるのが不思議。
水槽は、９０センチから３０メートルまで５種類あり、それぞれ好きなものを飼えます。育てるも食べさせるもやり直しがききますし、音楽もなかなかよく（DSの音って結構、立体的に聞こえますよね）ちょっと、ちょっととやってると時間がたってしまうんですよね。今のところ私のＤＳでは、もっぱらコレです。

シャチを飼ってますが、可哀想だとは思うのですが、餌にアザラシ、ペンギン等の生餌を与えています。リアルな自然界の仕組みのままですが、残酷でしょうか？

音楽といい、イルカ、ペンギンの動きといい、癒されます。
現実ではあり得ない「ペット」だけに、とても楽しめます。ペンギンの泳ぎのスピード感ったら、抜群です。
ただ、割と頻繁に面倒をみないと弱っていってしまうので、名前をつけてかわいがっていたこたちが、寿命でつきてしまったり、別の動物に食べられたり．．．悲しい思いもしました。
