今まで自分のやったRPGの中では、プレイしていて一番楽しかった作品。
グラフィックスが美しいだけではなく、主人公グラドリエルの魂までもが美しい。
また、脇役それぞれにも独特な魅力や温もりがあり、それがこのゲーム世界を、よりいっそう親しみやすいものにしています。
しかも、メインストーリーをクリアすれば、これら脇役たちを主人公にして、新たな視点からこのゲームの世界をプレイできるというオマケつきです。

ムービーによる演出やボイスなどは一切なし。
戦闘シーンでの画面の切り替わりなどもまったくありません。
ところが、この作品の場合は、キャラクターの表情や動きの繊細さによって、それら表現の幅を広げています。
そのため、特別なイベントシーンがなくても、誰もがこのゲームの世界に没頭し、物語を満喫できるようになっています。
最近のゲームしか知らない自分は、逆に、そのことに大変驚かされました。

アクションについては、序盤がけっこう大変ですが、経験を積みさまざまなアイテムが入手できるようになる中盤からは、かなりラクになります。
アクションが苦手な人でも、豊富なアイテムを利用しながら戦闘にのぞめば、かなり有利に戦うことが可能でしょう。

子供には夢や希望や冒険を、大人には心のどこかがほんのり温かくなるような、そんな気分にさせてくれるゲームです。
良い本や良い映画にめぐりあえたのと同じ気分になれたゲームというのは、もしかすると、自分にはこの作品が初めてかも知れません。

元はサターンで発売された古いゲームなので、このPSP版が発売されるまではなかなかお目にかかれないソフトだったのでまた遊ぶことができてうれしいです。
ゲームとしてのできはさすがに多少古めかしさはするのですが、丁寧に描かれたドット絵などは今でも好感が持てると思います。

最初から可愛いキャラとか世界観に惹かれたんですが、ストーリーとしてはだんだん盛り上がってくる感じでした。自由に世界を冒険、人助けしたりして進むのですが、やればやるほど味が出てきます。持てるアイテムが増えれば増えるほど楽しいです。途中でトロッコレースが出来たりして、それがスーファミのドンキーコングのレースのような感じでつい夢中になったりして。新しい村で名産品を食べるのが楽しみです。
可愛いし面白いし、ずっとやってたくなる良いゲームだと思いました。
