この一作前の『Rio de Emocion』から顕著になったラテンロックというか、広汎に非欧米的なリズム感は、デビュー10周年に出たこの作品で加速というより、血肉化した。これはもう新しいかどうかより、kjのリズムに対する天性と日本のロックバンドならではの、宿命的なルーツとしての混血(ハイブリッド)感の表れだ。ドラムンベースなどとの混合より、生音が目立ち、メロディも立った曲が多いことで、これまでのDAより若干、叙情的に感じられるアルバムだが、演奏、メロの良さでも、フォロワーとは格が違うことは明らかだ。分かりやすくラテンな曲もいいが、哀愁とロック的なアイデアが融合したラストはいい意味で10年分のこなれ、を感じる。(石角友香)

次から次へと新しい挑戦を続けているDA。

前作から続くラテン系に寄った音楽が本作で完成されたと感じる。

ひとつのバンドに対し同じジャンルを求める方にはDAは馴染みづらいと思う。
バッシングのようなものがあるのも気持ちは分かる。
そして常に変化し続ける、自身の好きな音楽を求め続けるDAの音楽は随分過小評価されていると感じていたが、今作は、かなり好評。

私も非常に気に入った１枚だ。

特に全体のレベルが高くどの曲をシングルカットしても申し分ない出来と考える。

今回のアルバムはリズムセンスが抜群でした。個人的にはDAの中で一番の良作だと思います。J-POPの中ではロックを感じらる数少ないグループの1つだと思います。

聞けばアドレナリン出まくり。
憂うつもぶっ飛ぶ。
そんなROCKミュージックは他にもある。

けど、世のROCKの多くは、「孤独」が付きものに感じられる。
ひとりで、聴きたくなる、ひとりで聴くための音楽。

Dragon Ashの音楽はこの点が決定的に違う。
なぜか、皆と聴きたくなるROCK。
それが僕がDAを聴き続ける理由。

「皆と一緒に」などと言うと「群れんなよ」って批判もあるかもしれません。
けれども、DAは徒に群れていなし、そんなことは歌っていない。
「さあ奏でよう一人一人のmusicを（12.Beautifulから）」などの歌詞に
如実にあらわれているように、ひとりひとりの個をリスペクトした上で共にいること。
それは、「俺もあなたも皆一緒」という態度で徒に群れているとは全く異なる。

前作以上に、ラテンのテイストが増した本作。
皆と共振し合え、闘争心かきたてられるDAの魅力がラテンテイストにより、
一層引き立てられている曲が満載。

最初は「なんでラテン？」て思いましたが、
4.Flyを聴きまくって、そんな疑問はキレイに払拭。
5.Ivoryでも、ここで僕がクドクド書いてる、皆と共振し合えるDAの魅力に溢れてる、
と感じられましたが、Flyはこの魅力が段違い。
ライブでは皆で歌って踊って盛り上がること必至。

他にも既発シングル以外では2.Develop the musicも最高にカッコいいですよ。
また、13.Beautifulの歌詞はKjが照れずに歌いたいこと歌ってる感じでグッときます。

数多のROCKに付きまとう「孤独」「狂気」「破綻」といった負のイメージを安易に強調することなく、
皆と共振し合える喜び・楽しさや「幸あれ」とシンプルにHappyを求める音楽を鳴らすDAのようなROCKを断固支持！
