純粋に音楽だけで柴田淳を経験したくて、あえて通常盤を買ったが、これほどレベルの高いミュージシャンとは知らなかった。
何かを予感せずにはいられない１に始まり、内省的な歌詞ととびきりスケールの大きな楽曲との対比がとても素晴らしい２で早くも一気にピークを持ってくる。
親しみやすくシンプルなメロディーなるも完成度の高い３、ユニークでコミカルな言葉のベールで隠した焦がれる恋心がせつない４まで、本当にあっという間に聞かせてしまう。
せつなさはボサノバ調の７でも全開だが、８はブラックユーモアな歌詞が雰囲気を一転させてしまい、思わず笑ってしまうほど楽しい。
アルバムは９以降落ち着いた和風テイストになる。１１はジャンルを超えた名曲、そしてラスト１３は見事にポップスの王道を行く。
ジャケット、様々なインナーショットも素晴らしく、完璧なアルバムとしか言いようがない。

話題になる前に1stアルバムを聴き、彼女の感性溢れる詩や曲調に惹かれました。
当アルバムは今までで一番綺麗で深い歌が多く、特に「花吹雪」は何度も聴いてしまうほど
情緒溢れ心に沁みる歌だと思います。サウンドもピアノを基本としたシンプルな構成で
音質も良く上品に仕上がっています。
そんな聴き入ってしまう歌の中で異色な王子様シリーズは何とも茶目っ気ありで、ライブでも
本人も楽しそうに歌っていましたね。
今後もこのまま独創的なスタイルを継続して欲しいです。
しかし、いつも思うのですが彼女のHPのDiaryのup度合いは半端じゃないですね。
レコーディングなどで遅く帰宅してもupするなんて・・・。
寝不足で逆にハイテンションなのかな？？
最近では「キャーーーーー、雪よー！」って、可愛いかったっす。。。

気になる曲がいくつかあり、ジックリ聴いている(^^)
つまおうじ☆彡 (拝啓王子様☆第三章)の
歌詞にはぶっ飛んだ！(^^;

シングルになった曲をのぞくと、
人魚の声、君が思えば…、私の物語が◎

他にも「月夜畑 〜vocal solo〜」斬新な企画の曲あり、注目！
