1976年9月20日生まれ。A型、愛知県出身。武蔵野音楽大学器楽科卒業。大学生時代に熊谷幸子に憧れ、オリジナル曲を書き始める。
自称「昭和の捨て犬!」、「平成のジャバダ女」 。ピアノへの偏愛とマゾヒスティックな幸福論を歌と演奏に昇華する異端者。

大人になるにつれて、器用に生きていく方法を身につけているうちに、なにかとても大切なものをなくしていた。
この作品には(過去のアルバムもそうであったように)そんな「なくしてしまったなにか」、心の失せものたちで満たされている。
これまであったような負の感情で胸が張り裂けそうな表現は和らいだように見えるけれども、
一回きりの生への新鮮な感動、そして(つらくて悲しいけれども)生きることへの初々しい感性は変わってはいない。
今まで通りの作り方もあったに違いない。私たちもそれを聞きたいと思っているところもあるのだけれど、
この作品は変わることへ挑戦する生き方の記録。不器用で、切なくて、たまらなく愛おしい。

前作「ただいま」に比べると全体的にうんとジャズっぽくなっており、歌詞の内容がソフトになり美しくなってます。
１.桜道、６.あいあい、なんてシングルカットしてＴＶ番組とタイアップしたらヒットするのでは？そのぐらい一般うけしそうな素晴らしい曲だと思います。
相変わらず捨て曲が一曲も無いアルバム作りには感服します。
倉ヨエは間違いなく進化してます♪。
ＰＣで観ることのできる「損と嘘」のライブ映像は素ばらしいですね♪映像メディアに出るのが嫌いなアーティストだと思っていただけに嬉しいです♪ＤＶＤ出してくれないかなぁ〜。

一曲目から「垢抜けたな〜!」と思いました。
今まではピアノ主体のアレンジが多かった倉橋さんですが、今回はタイトル通りホント色々ですね。
なんだかギターが奏でるイントロから始まる曲にビックリしてみたり(笑)
歌詞の面では、うまく言えませんが少し大人しくなった感じを受けました。
とは言っても、そこら中に倉橋さんらしいフレーズが散らばっているのでご安心を。
個人的に1,2,11,12曲目は初聴ですぐ気に入りました。
お気に入りのアルバムになりそうです。
ただ、やっぱり倉橋ヨエコと云えばピアノ。
ライブではアルバムと違って、倉橋さんにしこたまピアノを弾いてもらいたいというのも本音ですね。
