2007年１月期のフジ系ドラマ『今週、妻が浮気します』の主題歌ほか、関連楽曲で構成されたマキシ。
タイトル曲は「え、こんなファンキーな曲をシングルで出しちゃって大丈夫なの？」という第一印象を持った、タイトルも歌い出しの歌詞もまったくもって規格外の、ど・ファンキーなナンバー。番組のエンディングにはCKBのメンバーが全員登場し、この曲をパフォームしている（ジャケ裏には、この撮影時の集合写真も掲載）。過去のドラマでのこういったケースといえば、CHAGE & ASKAの「YAH YAH YAH」などが思い出されるが、もしもこの、一般受けという概念からはちょっと離れたところで作られた「てんやわんやですよ」が大ヒットなんかしちゃったら、それはそれでまた痛快、かもしれない。なお、ボーナス・トラックとして収録の「ジャムるこころ」は、劇中よく流れているものとは異なり、かっこよすぎる「てんやわんやですよ」のインスト版。これは必聴。
一方、「家に帰ろうよ」は、ソングライター・横山剣氏が得意とするところの、ソウルフルでピースフルなスロー・バラード。劇中で使用されることになっており、果たしてどんな風にドラマを彩ることになるのか楽しみだ。
そして、毎週オープニングで強烈なインパクトを与え、ひょっとすると小学生のあいだでブームになるかもしれない（知らないけど）「た・す・け・て」は、2000年発表『ショック療法』収録の「たすけて」を新たにレコーディングしたもの。個人的には「タイガー＆ドラゴン」や「右手のあいつ」（『パンチ！パンチ！パンチ！』収録）と並んで“和田アキ子チックに歌う三部作”の一角をなすオリジナル・テイクの方がお気に入りであり、興味のある方はぜひご一聴を。
それにしても、いつもながらカラオケも含めびっしり収めた、このサーヴィス精神。
「さすが、CKB！」というほかない。
